She gives the hint of a smile with her red lips. I decided as the image was mostly one colour and mostly ivory that the background would be an explosion of colour.
Red strips are used on the dress to highlight its details and in line with her red lipstick, I went for red and gold in the background. Red a colour that can signify love and romance or danger! The use of gold textured paper lifts and frames the image.
I used my signature lines in red to add further details to the piece. A teal background adds further colour to the piece. It's an exciting piece with red used liberally.
