The image led the way with this piece. I wanted to highlight the woman, her hairstyle and dress. I wanted all the colours to highlight her dress and her as the central focus.
Therefore I have played with lines in purple and pink. All individually cut and adhesive used to place on the page and smoothed out. The colours lead into one another from the orange that the woman is mounted on to the pink and purple lines. It is as if all the patterns are coming forth from the woman.
It is as if she floats towards the viewer with these lines of colour flowing out from her.
