This piece was inspired by the colours led by the hues and colours on the models face. This is a simple collage based on the use of complimentary colours.
The image was led by the circular cushion around the models neck. The hues of red and gold reflecting on her face are a play of colours and light.
To highlight her face I decided to create three circular shapes that grow larger in size as they move outward. Gold and pinks surround her head leading to a halo effect.
The collage is simple and yet its dark background draws the eye of the viewer.
