The colours of this piece are led by the colours of the leopard which frames the central image.
The printed pattern of the coat of the leopard frames the central image and gives it a fierce and standout look.
Instead of letting the leopard print take over the whole background I decided to frame the image of the woman and make the background a bright orange.
The lines in white on the leopard print are echoed in the black lines following on outside on the orange paper.
The piece is to give the idea of a film star with lights emanating from the background. The colourful background brings out the black and white lines in the piece making it standout.
