This piece really excited Sarah due to use of bright colours to create shapes and a sense of focus to the piece.
Two figures of a man and woman, the colours they wear are echoed in the use of patterns behind them and also the bright circles behind them and what looks to be like arrows pointing towards them.
The piece is about vibrancy and how pattern clashes and colour can indeed work together to create a piece that is visually stimulating to the eye of the viewer.
Sarah wanted the viewer to not know where to start with the flow of the piece whether it be the smiles of the two people, the colours and patterns in their garments or the background patterns.
Is the image harmonious or is it a sum of what can be seen to be non cohesive parts?
