A departure from her signature style instead playing with positioning and a different image. The central image reminds Sarah of women in Victorian times. Her pose and dress sets the tone.
The idea to use a different pattern and bold print that would highlight and contrast the woman was were the zebra print came in. The shorter lines in blue and white are placed literally where some fell on the work as she was creating.
This piece is different to her other work in that it does not carry her usual patterns however it is bold and is on a beautiful shade of blue card.
On a personal note this piece really took time to grow on the artist but she can now see it in a beautiful setting adding an interesting view.
