A bright sun descends over the sands, a orange glow of the sunsetting. This was the basis for the colour scheme in this piece. From her travels in Ghana to the people she met and saw has inspired this piece.
The jewellery, the height of the woman, her proud stance. On it's base of orange and gold card the figure holds her hands on her hips looking out. It also shows the strong resilience of the women of Africa and the wonderful colours and surroundings around them. A piece to be truly admired.
